The interest in intellectual property is growing day by day in the world. Trademarks, patents and industrial designs, which constitute the most important part of the Intellectual Property, are in the scope of a different specialization.
 
Since that this work has both technical and legal aspects, there is a profession such as trademark and patent attorney-ship on the world since more than a hundred years ago. Despite that the boundaries of such profession were drawn in Turkey officially as of 1995, there is an increasing interest in this profession.
